*Outside Sales – Virden / Springfield Area*

LS is a private, locally owned company, with distribution and production locations throughout the Greater Central Illinois Region.
Our goal at LS Building Products is to be the premier distributor of building materials in our markets, and to provide superior customer service and professional support to those we serve.
Our outside sales team is an integral part of identifying and bringing on new customers and providing superior service to our existing customers.
*Responsibilities:*
Develop effective sales strategies to meet personal, branch, and company sales goals
Utilize the CRM software to track and identify potential customers and bring them on board
Evaluate the needs of current and potential customers and provide recommendations and product training
Prepare accurate and timely material estimates
Handle customer questions, complaints, and concerns in a manner consistent with LS’ high customer service standards
Help resolve customer billing/account issues
*Applicant Requirements*
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Effective time management and planning skills
Self-starter, able to work under minimal supervision
Strong problem solving skills
High level customer service and interpersonal skills
Ability to travel as required (current & valid drivers license with a good driving record)
*Preferred by not required*
Experience in the building materials industry, specifically trusses and/or lumber
Experience with CRM software (HubSpot)
*Pay/Benefits: *$60,000 base pay + commissions (combined $100,000+ OTE)
