Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Territory Manager to join our team.
As the Central IL Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our operations in the Springfield, IL area.
You will play a key role in driving sales, managing accounts, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
The ideal candidate will have strong sales and customer service skills, as well as a background in solar.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow a portfolio of accounts in the Central IL area
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and market share
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing exceptional customer service
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with customers
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of products/services
- Utilize Salesforce or similar CRM software to track sales activities and manage customer information
- Provide technical sales support to customers, addressing any questions or concerns they may have
- Hire, train and manage your own sales team and an installation crew as needed
Requirements:
- Proven track record in sales, preferably in solar sales or related field
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent customer service abilities
- Ability to work independently and meet sales targets
- Proficient in using Acculynx or similar CRM software for managing accounts
- Experience in account management is preferred
