The Marketing Assistant plays a critical role in the oversight, planning and implementation of the entire Prairie State Bank & Trust branding and marketing strategy.
This role is vital in promoting the business and mission of PSB&T.
It serves as the face of our company, coordinating and producing all materials representing the business.
It is the Marketing department’s job to reach out to prospects, customers, and the community, while creating an overarching image that represents the company in a positive light.
This position is a 100% in-person role.
This position is a blended position that will also require basic bank teller training/knowledge with customer service skills for roughly 10 hours weekly.
The remaining 30 hours of this full-time position will be Marketing position focused.

) Demonstrated experience with social media platforms (Facebook/Meta, Instagram, LinkedIn) Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign & Adobe Premiere) Digital photography and video editing experience a plus Positive growth & experience working in a Customer Service role Below are the responsibilities expected of the Marketing Assistant position: Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department’s activities Support marketing executive in organizing various projects Support Retail staff in opening and closing the location and ensuring coverage for positive customer experience.
Conduct market research and analyze consumer rating reports/ questionnaires Employ marketing analytics techniques to gather important data (social media, web analytics, rankings etc.
) Update spreadsheets, databases and inventories with statistical, financial and non-financial information Assist in the organizing of promotional events and traditional or digital campaigns and attend them to facilitate their success Prepare and deliver promotional presentations Maintain website information for several businesses including PSB&T, APIS, and Whitsitt & Associates Write marketing literature (brochures, press releases etc) to augment the company’s presence in the market Maintain schedules for marketing initiatives Producing and updating marketing and promotional materials.
Creating content providing search engine optimization for our websites.
o Will be responsible for keeping Web content current, while also working to ensure our site pushes for 1st page of SEO.
Monitoring and managing social media.
o Including content creation, proofing and post design & scheduling o Responding and engaging with the audience Carefully watch and respond to what is being posted about PSB&T online.
Producing internal communications.
Including newsletter and/or intranet.
Conducting customer and market research.
Overseeing outside vendors and agencies.
o These may include ad agencies, print vendors, Web providers, etc.
Support the marketing team with planning, implementing, and monitoring marketing campaigns Assist with the production of marketing materials and collateral Help organize and coordinate marketing events such as educational events, customer events, public events and internal events.
