The ideal candidate will possess strong communication, marketing and meeting planning skills, a positive attitude, entrepreneurial spirit, strong work ethic, exceptional responsiveness, customer service and organizational skills.
*Position Available: Director* *Role Overview: *The Director will serve as a central figure in our organization, overseeing the management of client operations, programs, and strategic initiatives.
This multifaceted position requires an adept individual who can navigate the complexities of non-profit management, from program development and volunteer management to financial oversight and community engagement, and much more.
The successful candidate will be responsible for spearheading a diverse range of programs, ensuring operational excellence, and fostering partnerships.
This role demands a strategic thinker who can manage multiple projects efficiently, engage diverse stakeholders, drive growth and innovation within our client associations and beyond.
*Key Responsibilities:* * Strategic Planning and Implementation: Develop and execute program strategies to advance client missions.
* Leadership and Governance: Work closely with volunteer leaders and ensure effective communication and collaboration towards client goals.
* Financial Management: Prepare and manage program budgets, ensuring the effective allocation of resources for maximum impact.
* Fundraising and Development: Collaborate with volunteers and the Pivot team to secure sponsors and other non-dues revenue to the financial resources necessary for client success.
* Program Development and Evaluation: Assist in the development of innovative programs and assess their effectiveness in achieving desired outcomes.
* Marketing and Communications: Develop and execute marketing and communication strategies to elevate association client profiles, engage the community, and communicate impact.
* Volunteer Management: Recruit and manage volunteers, providing them with a rewarding experience that leverages their skills for success.
* Compliance and Legal Issues: Ensure adherence to all legal and regulatory requirements, manage organizational risks, and maintain the integrity and reputation of the client.
* Technology and Data Management: Leverage technology to enhance operational efficiency, data management, and the delivery of programs and services.
* Partnerships and Collaboration: Foster partnerships with other organizations, businesses, and government entities to amplify impact and resources.
* Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Initiatives: Champion DEI principles within all aspects of the organization’s operations, ensuring inclusive practices, equitable treatment, and diverse representation.
*Qualifications* * Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience (experience in association management preferred); * Expert user of all Microsoft products (required); * Ability to learn quickly, handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines; * Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills; * Experience with budget management and fundraising; * Great attention to detail with the ability to achieve thoroughness and accuracy when completing a task; * Strong creativity with the ability to produce new concepts, ideas and solutions; * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to organize and convey ideas clearly in writing and verbally.
