*Overview:*
The Program Manager is a vital role within Downtown Springfield, Inc.
, responsible for overseeing a wide array of initiatives and programs that enhance the community's vibrancy and engagement.
Reporting directly to the Executive Director, this role demands a proactive, creative, and organized individual who can manage multiple projects simultaneously while fostering relationships with members, stakeholders, and the community.
*Key Responsibilities:*
*Membership and Community Engagement*
* Administer the membership database, including invoicing, membership renewals, and new member integration.
* Design and produce membership materials and newsletters.
* Conduct outreach to potential new members and coordinate member-based events, including ribbon cuttings and training sessions.
* Manage the Retail Co-Op and oversee "All Member Meetings.

*Event and Program Coordination*
* Plan and coordinate DSI's signature events, such as the Old Capitol Holiday Walks, The Farmers Market, Etc.
* Manage annual initiatives like the D.

Grant and the Beautification and Lighting programs.
* Support community and public relations efforts alongside the Executive Director.
*Market and Database Management*
* Oversee the Old Capitol Farmers Market, including vendor management, event coordination, and marketing partnerships.
* Manage parking and vacancy databases, ensuring accurate and current information.
*Council Guidance and Support*
* Provide support and guidance to various councils as assigned by the Executive Director, covering areas such as beautification, arts and culture, and downtown events.
* All other duties as assigned.
*Required Experience and Skills:*
* A minimum of 3 years of experience in program management, preferably in a non-profit or community development setting.
* Strong organizational and project management skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in social media management and content creation.
* Experience in membership management and community engagement.
* Familiarity with event planning and coordination.

Annual Salary $40,000-$45,000 plus a $6,000 stipend for Health Insurance.
