As a crucial player in achieving the sales objectives of our agency or specialized department, this role involves contributing to both short-term and long-term growth targets outlined by our agents.
The primary responsibilities include generating new business, identifying cross-selling opportunities, delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring client retention, and achieving profit goals.
Key Responsibilities: * Actively seek and secure new business opportunities for the specialized department.
* Work closely with the agent or operations manager to determine optimal coverage solutions for clients.
* Assess and rate new accounts during the underwriting process.
* Maintain awareness of new products and industry initiatives, actively pursuing personal and professional development.
* Take a proactive approach to gather expiration dates from potential clients and prospects.
* Cultivate and nurture strong agency relationships with existing clients.
* Meet production requirements and goals established by the agent or agency manager.
* Keep comprehensive monthly sales records and share them with the agent or operations manager for evaluation.
Skills and Qualities: * Demonstrate effective communication skills.
* Exhibit strong customer service abilities.
* Possess proficiency in computer skills.
* While preferred, sales experience is not mandatory.
