The Intern will rotate through various areas of responsibility, develop technical skills, and learn operational and business practices.
Job Relationships
Reports to the applicable department Manager or Director
Principal Responsibilities
Shadow multiple office positions and train in a variety of tasks.
Provide ideas to grow and improve the business.
Accept designated, business-oriented projects to research, propose ideas and solutions, and present final findings.
Attend organization and/or department functions and networking events.
Provide suggestions to management for improving internal processes.
Comply with the Springfield Clinic incident reporting policy and procedures.
Adhere to all OSHA and Springfield Clinic training & accomplishments as required per policy.
Provide excellent customer service and adhere to Springfield Clinic's Code of Conduct and Ethics Standards.
Perform other job duties as assigned.
Education/Experience
Must be enrolled in an accredited university/college program.
Previous industry experience is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Must be a self-starter, extremely organized, with a high attention to detail, and able to work independently with moderate supervision or direction.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel); experience with Microsoft Teams and SharePoint is preferred, but not required.
Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas.
Working Environment
Professional office environment.
Routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
