Job Description: The Sr Internal Wholesaler will engage in field and home office training for agents, employees, and all other distribution partners nationwide.
The purpose of the Sr Internal Wholesale position is to drive core and non-core campaigns to our distribution teams to grow sales and new household counts.
You will be the subject matter expert across a wide range of topics.
Provide expertise in multiple areas to ensure that agents and field leadership questions and concerns are managed with professionalism and expert knowledge.
This position is responsible for staying up to date on the latest developments in many areas including but not limited to internal product developments, IRS regulations, Life Insurance trends, FINRA/SEC regulations, as well as all Horace Mann legacy Life and Retirement products.
Responsibilities: Engage in Field and Home office training for agents, employees, and other distribution partners.
Drive Core and Non-Core campaigns to our distribution teams to grow sales and new household counts.
Subject matter expert across a wide range of topics.
Provide expertise in multiple areas to ensure that agents and field leadership questions and concerns are managed with professionalism and expert knowledge.
Responsible for CRM management to track sales pipelines and activity metrics – includes maintenance and distribution of reports.
Help define, create, and report on core and non-core campaigns by working with internal and external resources.
Lead staff scheduling assignments.
Mentor and assist with the development of current and potentially future Internal Wholesalers Help with reporting needs within the product and distribution lines of our business.
Requirements: Retirement and/or Life Insurance Sales Preferred Preferred 4 Year College Degree or equivalent experience.
Resident state Life Insurance and Health License or obtained within 60 days of hire date.
FINRA 6/7, 26, 63 or 65 or obtained within 60 days of hire date.
Five or more years' experience in financial services, a minimum of two years dealing with Life Insurance and / or Annuities.
