PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT Provides customer service, marketing, and administrative assistance to the location personnel.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Provides administrative support to ensure efficient operation of office.
Carries out administrative duties such as filing, copying, binding, scanning, etc.
Exhibits polite and professional communication via phone, e-mail, and mail.
Supports team by performing tasks related to organization and strong communication.
Assist in monthly customer statement distribution.
Coordinates, schedules, and prepares for meetings, as requested.
Answers phone and communicates with appropriate personnel to resolve customer inquiries promptly.
Always demonstrates a high degree of professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Pays close attention to detail, prioritizes work daily, and displays organization skills to keep up with continuously changing demands.
OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS Assists department staff as needed.
Occasionally may be asked to drive and run local errands as requested.
Follows GROWMARK's Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA, and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS Educations and Experience Must be pursuing a degree or certification from a community college, technical college, or university and in good academic standing at the time the internship begins.
Functional Competencies Proven professional communication, persuasion, and customer service skills.
Proven team-building skills and the ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
Demonstrated planning, organization, time management, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to use the computer and "attention to detail" skills and the ability to use the computer to enhance business processes.
Core Competencies Demonstrated core competencies, including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision-making, and skill development.
Other Requirements Ability to work hours other than those considered normal at various times throughout the year to meet deadlines and demands.
Must have a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
Must be able to work extended hours beyond those considered normal when required.
Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK's policies and procedures, and additional training related to the position's requirements.
