However, there may be some physical activity such as walking, standing, bending, carrying of light-weight items.

Major Duties: Provides advice and assistance regarding legal requirements, processing, documentation, evidence control, record keeping, and reporting of program operations.
Obtains and processes a variety of paperwork associated with the electronic surveillance (ELSUR) program.
Maintains ELSUR physical evidence and ensures chain-of-custody is preserved.
Organizes and maintains records and control systems (to include automated systems) for tracking, monitoring, and reporting on ELSUR activity.
Transfers data from ELSUR devices to portable media.
Maintains close working relationships with agents, support personnel, representatives from other agencies, and U.
S.
Attorneys.
Researches, analyzes, and identifies problem indicators and makes recommendations regarding improvement of the ELSUR program.

SE is defined as follows: Maintained evidence while adhering to chain-of-custody procedures.

Education All degrees must be from an accredited college or university.
Education may be substituted for specialized experience as follows: GS 7: Applicant must have a bachelor's degree with superior academic achievement or one (1) full year of graduate level education.
Superior academic achievement is the completion of all the requirements of a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, which is based on (1) class standing, (2) grade-point average of 3.
0 or higher as recorded on an official transcript, or as based on courses completed during the final two years of the curriculum, or (3) honor society membership.
Education cannot be substituted for SE at the GS 8 level.
