Posting Identification Number 36609 Position Overview The Office of Business Services is seeking to hire an Executive I at the Office of Business Services located in Springfield, Illinois.
Under direction, serves as a Telecom support liaison on behalf of Department of Human Services (DHS).
Acts as a liaison between DHS and Department of Innovation and Technology (DoIT).
Coordinates, reviews, and maintains agency master records for landline and cellular equipment issued to DHS employees within internet application of Expense Management System (EMS) 11.
Plans, creates, and maintains the OneNet intranet page for the Telecommunications unit.
Job Responsibilities Serves as a Telecom support liaison for an assigned areas within Department of Human Services (DHS).
Acts as a liaison with Department of Innovation and Technology (DoIT) and appropriate telecommunications contractors and providers regarding wireless orders.
Act as a liaison between DHS and DoIT for support tickets by completing Telecom Service Requests and Problem reports and sending them to DoIT.
Coordinates, reviews, and maintains agency master records for landline and cellular equipment issued to DHS employees within internet application of Expense Management System (EMS) 11.
Makes estimates of telecom and IT stock needs.
Consults with superiors as to changes in inventory levels.
Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.
Minimum Qualifications Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to completion of four (4) years of college, preferably with coursework in business or public administration.
Requires one (1) year of responsible administrative experience in a public or business organization, or completion of an agency approved professional management training program.
Preferred Qualifications A degree in business or another related field.
One (1) year of professional experience communicating effectively, both orally and in writing.
One (1) year of professional experience establishing and maintaining satisfactory working relationships with fellow employees.
One (1) year of professional experience working with telecom services.
One (1) year of professional experience working with an expense management system for a public or private organization.
One (1) year of professional experience providing telecom support.
