The Reimagining Energy and Vehicles Program is a tax credit and incentive program which provides tax credits for businesses that create and retain full-time jobs and make capital investments in Illinois.
The REV Program Coordinator will directly contribute to the state’s competitiveness by helping promote and leverage the REV tax credit program to recruit and retain businesses within the state of Illinois.
The ideal candidate will have experience leading or overseeing economic development and/or tax credit incentive programs.

Job Responsibilities 1.
Manages the annual Reimagining Energy and Vehicles (REV) programs’ issuance of tax certificates to eligible businesses.
2.
Manages the front-end intake, review, and approval processes for REV applications.
3.
Prepares marketing materials and makes presentations to businesses, local economic development organizations and other entities on behalf of the Large Business Development Program.
4.
Maintains tracking tools to monitor existing REV participants to ensure compliance with their REV program agreement.
5.
Reviews policy and program’s legislation.
6.
Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of duties enumerated above.
Minimum Qualifications 1.
Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to completion of four (4) years of college, preferably with courses in business or public administration.
2.
Requires two (2) years of responsible administrative experience in a public or business organization.
Preferred Qualifications 1.
Prefer at least six months of experience with tax credit programs.
2.
Prefer at least two years’ experience managing or leading economic development programs including tax incentives and/or technical assistance (State and Local).
3.
Prefer at least two years’ experience collecting and analyzing business and financial data, developing recommendations, and presenting recommendations to executive staff as related to the Program.
4.
Prefer at least two years’ experience working with financial documents including financial statements related to business operations.
5.
Prefer at least one year experience in a public facing role that includes presenting and/or promoting.
6.
Prefer at least two years’ experience working with business communities to ensure compliance with program requirements.
7.
Prefer at least two years’ experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
8.
Prefer at least two years’ experience collecting and analyzing data, developing recommendations, and presenting recommendations to executive staff.
