The Area Manager’s primary job function is to be fully accountable for BunnServe success of an assigned group of states.
They are primarily responsible for organizing, planning, and directing the day-to-day delivery of onsite services for assigned geographical area, including the management of internal technicians and Service Providers.
Establishes and maintains ethical standards as a representative of Bunn.
Sets an example to peer group and reporting team in ethical decision making.
The Area Manager will report directly to the Zone Manager.
*DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*
* Manage and direct a geographic region normally consisting of multiple states.
* Oversees the performance management of the FSE’s and Service Providers to meet all expectations.
* Ensures that FSE’s and service providers are trained to support the equipment in their assigned territories.
* Responsible for the hiring, training, and performance of area’s FSE’s.
* Directs day to day work of BUNN internal technicians and determines hours and work schedules.
* Identifies and onboards service providers in area to increase BunnServe Capacity.
* Manages SP SLA’s and overall performance.
* Performs customer and service partner visits on a regular basis.
* Monitors activity and plans work to achieve productivity and customer satisfaction goals.
* Ensures an elevated level of technical competence by creating and executing employee skill development plans for each direct report.
* Manages customer issues related to service performed by assigned technicians and/or Service Providers in the assigned area.
* Participate in planning and execution of new product field tests and new market tests.
* Actively promote BUNN Quality Initiative through participation in BUNN Quality Work Groups.
* Flexible schedule that may require some evening and weekend work.
* Significant amount of travel required.
*QUALIFICATIONS*
* Associate Degree or vocational training in electrical/mechanical areas preferred
* Two or more years experience as a BUNN Service Technician
* Passion for customer satisfaction
* Good written and verbal communication skills
* Excellent attention-to-detail, and organizational skills
* Working knowledge of computers, including Windows and Microsoft applications
* Initiative-taking and goal oriented
* Ability to lift to fifty pounds and to push or pull up to 250 pounds.
* Ability to travel up to 50%
