The Office of Public Utilities, Information Systems Division is seeking an individual to manage cyber security teams and ensures the security, confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the enterprise network and infrastructure.
Proactively performing risk mitigation, detection of cybersecurity incidents and incident response.
Recommend, monitor, document, and maintain various backups, disaster recovery and security software products.
Maintain disaster recovery documentation and infrastructure design.
Make recommendations on preventative security policies and practices that govern the city's network environment and connected hardware and systems.
Provide reports of security activities and monitor network and infrastructure performance.
Will be the Information Systems Divisions primary contact for NERC/CIP/SCADA related events, compliance and cooperative activities.
Ability to work overtime and on-call on a rotating weekly basis.
Requires knowledge, skill and mental development equivalent to completion of a Bachelor of Science degree or higher with coursework in Computer Science with a minimum of ten years’ experience in advanced server or networking technologies.
Must possess Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE) certification in Microsoft Windows and/or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).
Must furnish information for and pass the required criminal background investigation.
Must sign confidentiality statement.
Requires possession of valid class D driver's license.
Requires submitting proof of insurance on a bi-annual basis.
