Summary As the Senior Director of Supplier Strategy and Growth you will play a critical role in shaping the company's growth trajectory, portfolio strategy and lead initiatives that attract, retain, and support the pursuit of supplier partnerships.
You will be responsible for leading the development and execution of strategic initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
In this role, you will Collaborate with the VP Supplier Excellence & Chief Supplier & Growth Officer to develop and execute a comprehensive supplier strategy aligned with the company's growth objectives.
Identify key supplier segments, market trends, and potential growth opportunities to enhance our product portfolio and market presence.
Lead the identification and evaluation of potential suppliers/vendors to expand and diversify our product offerings.
Support the development of strong relationships and RNDC-brand association with potential suppliers, to include supporting communication plans and activations that support positioning/demonstrate the value of partnering with our organization.
Own end-to-end RFP/pursuit process to include direct management of large-scale RFPs and implementation/enforcement of standard pursuit process best practices among Supplier BU teams.
Support Supplier team in contract negotiations to achieve favorable terms with new suppliers to drive profitability and secure advantageous arrangements for both parties.
Develop innovative programs and incentives to stimulate supplier growth and increase their commitment to our organization – ranging from new to the world to optimization of existing business practices that improve the overall supplier experience with RNDC.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales and marketing, to align supplier growth initiatives with broader business objectives.
Partner with Supplier Management & Insights team in the tracking and enhancement of existing supplier relationships, ensuring mutual growth and long-term partnerships.
Utilize data-driven insights to identify market trends, competitive landscape, and opportunities for growth in the beverage alcohol industry.
Refine and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of supplier growth and portfolio strategies and ensure progress towards the Supplier Organization’s goals.
What you bring to RNDC Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Management, or a related field.
Ten or more years proven experience in a senior strategy or business development role, preferably within the alcohol beverage industry.
Demonstrated success in developing and implementing growth strategies that drive business expansion and revenue growth.
