Accounting Manager

Reporting to the CFO, the Accounting Manager plans and directs the daily operations of the accounting department.
The manager is responsible for recruiting ,selecting, training and managing the accounting team.
This position partners with the CFO to prepare monthly financial statements and develop and implement control policies for the financial management of OCI and its affiliated companies.
Key Responsibilities Ensure organizational financial and payroll information is securely and confidentially maintained Manage payroll process with third-party vendor Develop, audit and maintain effective cash planning processes that protect the financial integrity of OCI and its affiliated companies Prepare monthly cashflow statements and other financial reporting Oversight of all general ledger functions including accounts payable/receivable and general reporting Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations Coordinate activities of external accounting firm responsible for tax planning Oversees the production of periodic financial reports in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles Experience, Education and Skill Requirements Bachelor's degree in accounting or business-related discipline At least four years of progressively responsible accounting experience Strong management and supervisory skills Demonstrated advanced Excel skills Proficiency using accounting software - preferably Sage Strong communication and time management skills
