Asst or Assoc Professor, Management Information Systems - Cybersecurity Mgmt (two positions) Posting Category: Summary The University of Illinois Springfield invites applications for two tenure-track faculty positions in Cybersecurity Management in the College of Business and Management.

This is a full-time on-campus position tenure-track academic appointment.
UIS tenure-system faculty are expected to be available and engaged in the campus community, with assigned professional responsibilities for teaching, scholarship, and service.
Duties & Responsibilities Teaching: On-campus and online development and delivery of graduate and undergraduate Cybersecurity Management as listed below and Management Information Systems courses.
Ability to teach in Cybersecurity Management and at least two of the following areas: Technical Foundations of Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Fundamentals of Business Analytics, Design Science/Research Methods, Project Management, Database, and Systems Analysis and Design, Business Process Modeling and IT Governance, Project and Change Management, Data Mining for Business Analytics, Business Process Management and Process Mining; student advising; graduate project supervision; and service.
The standard teaching load is 3/3.
The candidates will teach courses of at least one of the following groups, preferably plus courses from another group, plus at least two MIS courses listed above.

Group 1: MIS 564: Data Communications and Networking MIS 578: Information Security MIS 591: Digital Forensics MIS 592: Penetration Testing and Vulnerability Assessment Group 2: MIS 579: Cybersecurity Management MIS 581: Compliance and Legal Issues in Cybersecurity MIS 593: Cybersecurity policy MIS 594: Business Continuity Planning MIS 595: Cybersecurity Practicum/Capstone Scholarship: A record of high-quality scholarship or evidence of the ability to produce intellectual contributions leading to publication in high quality journals is required.
Service: Regular service at the department, college, and university levels.
Minimum Qualifications: An earned doctorate in Cybersecurity Management, MIS, or a closely related field at the time of appointment from an AACSB accredited institution; those with ABD status will be considered at the application/interviewing stage.
A strong commitment to an interactive, student-centered learning environment and to serving the needs of a diverse student body consisting of traditional and non-traditional learners is required—the commitment to teaching as the primary mission, with service as the second priority.
Ability and willingness to prepare and deliver online, blended, on-campus, and off-campus courses are required.
A record of high-quality scholarship or evidence of the ability to produce intellectual contributions leading to publication in high-quality journals is required.
Preferred Qualifications: CISSP, SSCP, CCFP, HCISPP, CISM, GIAC, SAP, POM, etc.

Work experience in the field of cybersecurity management is preferred.
