SUMMARY:
The Clinical Services Manager is responsible for the day-to-day clinical operations of state programs working in collaboration with other state functional leaders.
This role has responsibility for leading a team of clinicians.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assist state leadership to ensure all state specific regulatory requirements, contract stipulations and accreditation standards are maintained
• Collaborate with local leadership in ensuring programs are meeting clinical compliance with all documentation, reporting and service provision within all contracts of services within the state
• Support the State Clinical Director in developing and ensuring compliance with implementation of evidence-based practices outlined within the therapeutic schedule
• Conduct clinical and administrative trainings
• Complete Daily Documentation in the electronic documentation system as needed
• Conducting weekly and/or monthly clinical audits of the programs within the electronic documentation system
• Active member of the admission team for screening individuals referred to the programs
• Work with state leadership in marketing, growth, and business development
• Establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders and referral sources at a minimum of a quarterly basis
• Be available for on call program coverage for behavioral and administrative issues as they arise
• Assist the State Clinical Director in reviewing and revising clinical policies and procedures
• Performs other related duties as assigned by leaders
• Travel is required
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Directly supervise team members within the clinical department
• Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
• Responsibilities include assisting in interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; and addressing complaints and resolving problems.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Specific requirements include:
• Master's Degree (MA) in Human Services or related field
• Knowledgebase of all state regulations and licensing requirements of state where services are provided
• Working knowledge of eligibility requirements for individual referred for program services (minimum of three (3) year’s)
• Minimum of 2 years’ of operations and supervisory experience
• Computer skills required: Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to pass CPR, First Aid and Pro Act Restraint training
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality (HIPPA)
• One of the following certifications is preferred: LPC, LMSW, LICSW, LMFT, or BCBA
• Preferred: Applicable State Licensure with 2 years’ experience working with Individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities and mental health
