Shift Leader

Pay Range: $15 - $16 Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Restaurant Shift Leader.
The ideal candidate will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring smooth transitions between shifts and maintaining a positive and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities: Team Leadership: Supervise and motivate team members during assigned shifts.
Ensure all staff follows company policies and procedures.
Provide guidance and support to foster a collaborative and positive work environment.
Operational Excellence: Oversee the opening and closing procedures of the restaurant.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with management for restocking.
Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
Customer Service: Uphold high standards of customer service and satisfaction.
Address customer inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Assist in maintaining a clean and inviting dining environment.
Shift Management: Create and manage employee schedules, considering business needs and staff availability.
Coordinate with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth workflow.
Handle customer orders, payments, and any issues that arise during the shift.
Training and Development: Assist in training new team members on company policies and procedures.
Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to enhance employee performance.
Identify opportunities for skill development and advancement within the team.
Qualifications: Previous experience in a leadership role within the restaurant industry.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations and food handling procedures.
Flexible schedule with availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
