*Job Title: Director of Finance * *Supervisor: Executive Director * Reporting to the executive director (ED) and the finance committee of the CACI Board of Directors, the Finance Director will define the process and implement the infrastructure/systems needed to support substantial growth over the next five to 10 years.
The CFO will continue to build and manage effective and streamlined administrative/financial systems.
*Work Performed/Position Responsibilities: * *Management * * Preparation of quarterly and annual financial reporting materials and metrics for CACI’s board of directors.
* Oversee budgeting, financial forecasting, and cash flow for administration, and existing proposed programs.
* Select, hire, and develop support staff, as needed.
* Coordinate all audit activities.
*Administrative Leadership and Management * * Serve as a business partner to the ED on the organization’s financial, budgeting, and administrative processes—including HR, payroll, and benefits functions—with an eye on continuously developing and improving systems.
*Program Recipients * * Develop successful and trusting relationships with the program recipients and create and sustain an environment at CACI that supports these relationships.
* Create and deliver trainings for grant recipients, CACI staff, and CACI Board of Directors.
*Accountability * * The Finance Director is responsible for ensuring subrecipient compliance with grant guidelines related to passthrough funding.
* The Finance Director is responsible for ensuring CACI compliance with monitoring criteria of subaward agreements.
*Skills * * Excellent oral and written communication skills which demonstrates a commitment to professionalism.
* Appropriate conflict resolution methods which lead to positive solutions.
* Ability to problem-solve and research needed information with difficult and diverse situations.
* Ability to understand and interpret complex rules and regulations.
* Proficient in Excel or comparable spreadsheet application.
* Knowledge of day-to-day use of Adobe Acrobat.
* Knowledge of (or willing to learn) QuickBooks.
*Requirements * * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Management, Finance, or Public Administration.
* Minimum of two to five years of professional experience.
Preference will be given to experience managing the finance and administration of a high-growth organization (especially to nonprofit experience).
* Ability to work cooperatively with a variety of people, as well as independently with minimal supervision.
* This position requires some travel.
Willingness and ability to travel occasionally for overnight stays.
* Must have reliable transportation, including valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
