Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in the daycare
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and curriculum to stimulate learning and development
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, and naptime
- Ensure the well-being and safety of all children in your care
- Communicate with parents/guardians regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the daycare facility
- Follow all daycare policies and procedures
Skills:
- First Aid: Possess knowledge of basic first aid procedures and be able to respond to emergencies promptly
- Infant Care: Experience in caring for infants, including feeding, diapering, and providing a nurturing environment
- Nannying: Previous experience as a nanny, providing one-on-one care for children in a home setting
- Behavior Management: Ability to manage challenging behaviors in a positive and effective manner
- Preschool: Knowledge of early childhood education principles and experience implementing preschool curriculum
- Daycare: Familiarity with the daily operations of a daycare facility, including scheduling, routines, and safety protocols
- Childhood Development: Understanding of child development milestones and ability to create age-appropriate activities to support growth and learning
- Experience with Children: Previous experience working with children in a professional or volunteer capacity
- Classroom Management: Ability to create a structured environment that promotes positive behavior and engagement in learning activities
- Special Education: Knowledge of special education strategies and accommodations for children with diverse needs
