Delivery Driver and Customer Service

This is an opportunity for someone interested in working part-time that could become full-time with the right skills.
Assumed shift is approx 9:15a-1:45pp.
We are open Monday-Saturday, though we primarily will just need Monday-Friday.
We are searching for a licensed and insured driver to help with deliveries.
We keep deliveries within about 5-6 mi of downtown.
This is a position requiring a dependable vehicle and a person with great customer service skills.
When no deliveries are being made, you will have customer service duties within the restaurant of helping to pack orders and stock a limited amount of shleves.
Being able to lift, transport and deliver a variety of shapes & weights up to 50lb is required.
Pay is hourly + $2.
50/delivery + cash tips + allocated credi card tips based upon hours worked.
Work Location: In person Responsibilities: - Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to customers - Follow delivery schedules and routes to ensure timely and accurate deliveries - Provide exceptional customer service by interacting with customers in a professional and friendly manner - Verify the accuracy of delivery orders and obtain necessary signatures or documentation - Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating the delivery vehicle - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle Skills: - Valid driver's license with a clean driving record - Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role - Knowledge of driving regulations and best practices - Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines - Strong communication and customer service skills Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
