Partner with the best Our Machine Diagnostic (MDS) Field Engineers are the flagship of the Bently Nevada portfolio.
You will use the Bently Nevada hardware and software products to analyze and perform diagnostics on rotating machinery equipment locally at customer site or remotely logon to customer assets to ensure efficiency and customer satisfaction.
As an Machine Diagnostic Engineer, you will be responsible for: Performing installations, commissioning, and troubleshooting of Bently Nevada Hardware and Software Products and Solutions at customer locations Performing diagnostics on machinery based upon: vibration data, operational data, and customer communications to ensure safe operations Building efficient relationships with internal and external customers to provide a high level of service delivery Communicating with customer and internal functions to influence the approach and meet quality and continuous improvement objectives Completing timely standard service reports, invoicing packages, and other administrative requirements Tracking, reporting, and forecasting financials on individual projects on a regular basis Preparing timely work order requests, quick quotes and invoicing packages Applying HSE standards and procedures in all situations to ensure compliance is maintained Understanding contractual commitments and Term & Conditions commitments Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will: Have a valid Driver’s License Have a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline Have 3+ relevant experience within a similar role Have good knowledge of rotating equipment such as compressors, gas and steam turbines, pumps, and control systems Have knowledge or experience with one or more of the following: mechanical vibration, rotating machinery vibration and/or diagnostics, rotor dynamic analysis, machinery balancing and alignment Have experience reading, interpreting, and understanding electrical and mechanical drawings Have the ability to travel to customer locations up to 70% of available work time Work in a way that works for you We recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone.
This role is working with our customer on-site in locations primarily in the west region.
When onsite, you will have the flexibility to work in line with customer working patterns.
