*Join the professional team providing excellent services to children and families in Illinois!* *Case Aide* *Job responsibilities:* *Employees are required to follow the LCFS COVID-19 Vaccination Policy* *Proof of compliance is required prior to employment* · Provides Direct/Indirect Case Assistant Services with Assigned Agency clients.
· Demonstrates an ability to evaluate client needs and to assist the client with an understanding of knowledge and modeling to improve areas of need.
· Assists in the development and helps implement the Client Service Plan, Behavioral Learning Plan and other required Medicaid Documentation such as Rehabilitative Assessment and Rehabilitative Service Plan.
· Provides assistance to the client and caregivers to enhance accessibility to service delivery (transportation, advocacy and homemaker services).
· Represents client’s needs and Agency interest to referral sources, governmental administrative and judicial systems.
· Develops a working knowledge of community resources which may be used in serving Agency clients.
· Shares information and observations concerning the family and service delivery in the team meetings.
· Provides transportation of and supervision of visits with child, caregivers, and/or siblings.
· Interprets assists and monitors tasks assigned to the caregivers.
· Provides suggestions for positive parenting interaction during parent/child visitation.
· Performs the required duties of the position within the philosophy, policies and procedures of the Agency and Standards of the Profession and Child Welfare Authorities.
· Works cooperatively with other service programs in the Agency.
· Demonstrates a knowledge and acceptance of Agency policies and procedures and the policies and procedures of the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS).
· Assists in the interpretations of Agency services to the assigned clients, designated community church group.
· Assists in development and implementation of child’s Behavioral Learning Plan with other team members.
· Provides training to child/biological/foster parent and siblings regarding socialization, self-esteem and other areas as related to child’s Behavioral learning Plan.
· Manages time and workload effectively, including the timely completion of statistics, dictation, visitation records, assists with development of the Service Plan and all other record keeping.
· Completes appropriate Medicaid forms and documentation records in a timely manner for billing which include name, with appropriate identification numbers, dates and service codes required for documentation.
· Attends all mandatory training offered through the Agency as part of initial orientation and ongoing as needed.
· Assumes responsibility for enhancing knowledge and understanding of the assigned area of service through utilizing supervision, program meetings, and staff development training opportunities, both within and outside the Agency.
· Assists with filing of documentation into child’s Agency record.
EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS High School diploma as well as at least 2 years of experience working with children and families preferred.
