Position Overview
The Illinois Department of Children and Family Services is seeking an organized, professional, and energetic individual to serve as Administrative Case Review Program Manager.
Under administrative direction, this position will administer and manage the Administrative Case Review Program in the Southern Region.
The position provides oversight of subordinate professional staff engaged in conducting case reviews to ensure case plans reflect a “best interest of the child” criteria.

Job Responsibilities
1.
Serves as Administrative Case Review Program Administrator
2.
Serves as full line supervisor
3.
Within designated area, establishes priorities for the development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of the ongoing case review program
4.
Provides input into statewide program planning for ACR
5.
Assesses and evaluates the effectiveness of the Administrative Case Review Program with regard to legal compliance, service delivery impact, and the appropriateness of existing policies and procedures
6.
Provides input into the preparation of the statewide program budget
7.
Consults with professional groups in the planning and implementation of case review programs
8.
Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above
Minimum Qualifications
1.
Requires a master's degree in social work or a related human services field from a recognized college or university
2.
Requires three years of progressively responsible child welfare administrative experience with an MSW OR four years of progressively responsible child welfare administrative experience with a master's degree in a related human services field
Preferred Qualifications
1.
3 years of experience conducting, participating in, or observing social work case reviews
2.
3 years of experience managing staff engaged in social work case reviews
3.
3 years of experience supervising professional staff in a social work area
4.
4 years of professional experience working in a social work field related to child welfare or child protection
5.
4 years of professional experience administering a social work program
6.
3 years of professional experience serving in a liaison capacity in a public or business organization
